Saints Row is the finest Grand Theft Auto copycat yet, but my effort to gather more widespread appreciation is going to get a whole lot harder with Saints Row 2.
The bouncy vibrant-primary streets of Saints Row are long gone, replaced by morbid greys and decaying browns – to me, the visual style is a complete turn off.
Hopefully the co-op play and masses of customisation will be enough to make up for it.
The plot picks up after the explosive events of the first game featuring a story of betrayal, revenge and possibly, redemption.
Saint’s Row 2 is out this year on 360 and PS3.
