Telltale: Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures

wag.jpg Esteemed adventure developers, Telltale Games, are bringing Aardman Animations’ classic creation, Wallace & Gromit to the world of point and click adventures.

The developers have already given the treatment to classic LucasArts franchise Sam and Max, comic Bone and will launch a game based on internet phenomenon Homestar Runner this month.

“We’re certainly going for the clay look with this,” said Telltale Games CEO Dan Connors. “Clay presents a challenge if you really get into the detail of it. For example, adding fingerprints in a medium where there aren’t any is one of the discussions of how far we should go with the game’s detail.”

The game will feature plenty of physical gags and will retail in a similar episodic format as its predecessors. No date or platforms have been announced, but the official site promises new information on Monday.

This looks grand Gromit! I dunno how the hell Wallace’s voice actor is still alive. He’s been an old git all my life!
