BioShock hits PS3 in Europe on October 24th

Take Two has announced that BioShock’s Playstation 3 release is scheduled for release on October 21st in America and October 24th in Europe.

PS3 fans who have endured the long wait since BioShock’s August 2007 release will receive a number of additional features in the new release.

The game features a Survivor difficulty mode which offers tougher enemies and provides less Eve when you regenerate in a Vita Chamber. Also, Xbox 360 achievements will be converted into Playstation 3 trophies.

Exclusively to the PS3, BioShock will feature a number of challenge rooms; self contained puzzles that test the knowledge and skills of Rapture survivors. These will be available to download from the Playstation Store, shortly after launch.
