Whilst you may be spending your bank holiday in the sun, the team here have been stuck at their desks working furiously on this new website, as BritishGaming relaunches with a brand new look as we aim to bring you the best in original gaming reporting.
We’ve gone through the entire archive of the site, resorted and revised it so it’s easier to find that article on shovelware or find out how many publications I’ve insulted – and it’s now all automatically updated, which if you’ve ever tried to search our reviews page, you’ll know that’s something that is well overdue.
Every week we’ll be bringing you the reviews of the latest titles, unique features and our opinions on what’s going on in the world of gaming. And if you’re sick of announcements of announcements and posts about every new screenshot, we’ll be saving you the work of shifting through the second by second updates across the internet and Twitter about what CliffyB had for breakfast (chocolate porridge today) with our weekly news summaries with the most important and interesting headlines.
As ever, you’ll also be able to find all of the cheapest video game deals over at vgBargains, our unique podcast Shout, as well as random updates in 140 character or less over at our Twitter account.
We hope you like the new look, it’s a nice, fresh lick of paint and it’ll make it easier to find all of our great original content, which you’ll be seeing much more of. Let us know if you find any kinks that need to be worked out in the comments or by email.
Finally, massive thanks to Alain Meyer, who has provided tremendous levels of assistance with the coding of the new layout, fixing my mistakes, putting up with my hatred of CSS quirks, and adding loads of little visual quirks: and you can find his portfolio at AlainMeyer.com
Keep with BritishGaming over the next few weeks as we’ll be bringing you more great content, especially throughout E3, and just wait to see what plans we’re working on by the end of the year…

Wow, it’s very nice, it makes it alot easier to look through old posts, review, features ect
One suggestion though, can you put another another category on your site where I can see everything in order off what was last posted.
All the new content goes automatically to the front page, so it’s unlikely you’ll miss something. However, for now, on the sidebar of most pages there is a Recent Posts thing, and you can use that until we add another chronological view: I’ll certainly look in to that for you.
Oh, I didn’t notice the Recent Posts thing, cool.
